I believe removing the heatsink will void the warranty, so I just stopped right there. So I removed the backlid of the laptop only to find, that I have no access to the display connection, because the heatsink is in the way. I guess it is a bad connection/connector maybe due to the reattachment when renewing the thermal paste? When attaching a secondary display via the HDMI port, there is no flickering on the other display, so I assume it is not a GPU issue.

Ability to define a specific monitor to run a specific program. Since then, everything worked perfectly fine until 2 days ago. Schenker also renewed the thermal paste on my chip.
